The Research and (Dis)information Series

In addition to The Suggestion Box , the 2XX in 20XX series, and other videos, I also worked as a liaison between the University of Iowa Rhetoric department and the University of Iowa Library to produce the “Research and (Dis)information Series,” or RADS.

RADS is a seven-part series aimed to help instructors and students think/work through what it means to do good research, to understand the differences between bias and disinformation, and to evaluate sources. The culmination of the series is a demonstration of a research strategy called “lateral reading.”
